Maha Kumbh Mela 2025 – The Kumbh Mela 2025 will be held in Allahabad (Prayag) from January 13th to February 26th, 2025. Known for their grand celebrations, Hindus celebrate this festival with immense devotion. Kumbh Mela Prayagraj 2025 is one such significant event cherished by Hindus. It takes place in key historical cities in India including Prayag Raj (formerly Allahabad), Haridwar, Nasik, and Ujjain.The Kumbh Mela usually returns to the same location every 12 years, except for Prayag Raj and Haridwar. These cities also host the Ardh Kumbh, a smaller version of the Maha Kumbh, every 6 years. The origins of Kumbh Mela in India date back to the time when the Earth was believed to be the dwelling place of the Gods. During the great battle between gods and demons for the nectar of immortality, some of the precious liquid is said to have fallen on the rivers at Prayagraj, Haridwar, Nasik, and Ujjain.
